Taking Advantage

Braver Saturday -Your gratitude to someone is cancelled when you take advantage of them. It’s even deeper than you think. It’s good to be thankful. Gratitude is an attitude that can change your atmosphere. But what happens if you step over into an area where you are taking advantage of someone for whom you are grateful??? One way to test yourself is by asking yourself-

1. Am I demanding?

2. Am I manipulative?

3. Am I treating them like a slave?

Honor is what love looks like as Jill Mitchell O’Brien says…so, you might reconsider your attitude if you’ve begun to demonstrate any of the above.

Answer??? Love is all we owe one another. Stop treating them as if they owe you something. Whether they are working for free or for hire, you still need to be kind. What can you do to help them? That’s a good start… Love-d

  1. Amen. I will look into this and make sure I’m not taking advantage of the people around me, and if I am then I will ask God for strength and grace to make things right. Thank you Donna. Love and blessings. Sonia.😊 💖
