Fearless Friday – Overwhelmed.
He reveals His freedom. We have been liberated. The cage broken. The door cracked. The window opened. So, take a breath. Breathe. Again. Stop. Breathe again.
Oh Lord, Consider me. I ask for mercy.
Father, be triumphant over my past, over my poor and successful decisions. I trust you. Love-d
Fearless Friday – God’s love for us is greater than our circumstances, greater than our trials. His faithfulness is never ending and empowers us to endure the best, as well as the worst, of times. Yes, our God can, and many times does, deliver us from pain and sorrow and circumstances out of our control. On the other hand, there are times when our Lord, in a sovereign decision, lets us endure and be strengthened for adversity when life happens.
Rom 8:38-39 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Bless you this day as you go along your day and trust HIM with your life..until soon.
On the road to life we can get caught up in the to do list or we can organize our time to care for what’s most important for the long run. Do you have a grandparent who needs a hug? Do you have a kid you need to take to the park? What about a young adult child who needs a pat on the back?
How about you? Can you eat healthier today for a better tomorrow? Take a breath. Evaluate your today for a regret free tomorrow.
When Hope is removed, confidence and expectation are removed. Pick up HOPE again. Let HOPE reacquaint you with living. There are still promises left to come forth.stand to your feet! Breathe again! Live again! Love again! Open up your blinds. Go check your mail. Call someone up to say hello. Write yourself an an encouraging note. Tell yourself that you ARE going to be okay and that you are passing through not standing still.
Get out of giving up and HOPE AGAIN!! Be confident again!Give birth to trust and watch your promises come forth!
TRUST AGAIN! I love you @donnareiners @bravetobraver
FEARLESS FRIDAY PRESENTS Real life in construction. In process. Progressing. Inspections along the way to insure safety, foundation and structural soundness, interior electrical workings, exterior cosmetics. Building a house not that different than our physical lives. We need accountability with measured results. Regularly. So, my question is, “How is your life working out for you?” WHAT CAN YOU DO TO INSURE FORWARD MOVEMENT? Sometimes all we need are a few minor tweaks. Jot down a couple notes to yourself. Dream. Let’s GO FOR IT! I love you!! Donna Reiners
When I was young, I received an invitation into silence frequently from my mom. There were multiple reasons as to why I believed we lived in the country – our address was a Star Route, there was a horse across the road, there were what seemed like a thousand dogs next door, our house sat next to a forest, we had barb wire fence, there was hardly anyone my age nearby and a railroad was within a stone’s throw. We used to go down to the railroad track and fish in the little creek next to it! Believe you me, it was country to me! My sister was almost 8 years older than me so our paths did not cross much so Mom was the one I called on to play when I was bored which was most the time. I do have memories of playing with my mom from Flap Jack all night long to badminton to taking walks but there was the occasion when she told me no for whatever reason. It seems like yesterday and I hear her say, “Donna, why don’t you go sit underneath a tree and do some constructive thinking?” SERIOUSLY Really?
Wow Mom. Disappointed, I would do just what she said – I would literally go sit beneath a tree and think and ponder in the silence the outdoors offered me. I have her to thank for my thinking and my pondering and my wondering. She was a writer and I guess somewhere on the inside of her, she knew how to access that place in me that was called to write.
I hated quiet….but in the quiet I was forced to meet with me. I genuinely like me. I know….weird right? Honestly, I did not like me when I was little but I’m oldER now and I can go to the movies alone, out to eat by myself, take a drive alone, go to the park…it’s so refreshing to like myself. I meet a lot of folks who MUST have the sounds of tv, radio, music or talking around them to feel comfortable…and maybe it’s not the same with everyone…but I think maybe it’s a way to hide out from meeting ourselves…..SO BE BRAVER AND FIND YOURSELF IN THE QUIET 🙂
